Hi, I'm Dee.
I build AI systems for a living. Real ones, for real companies. Meanwhile, my car got towed off the road because I forgot the rego for six months.
That's the whole story, really. At work, everything is written down, shared, and nobody has to hold it all in their head. At home, it was all in mine. The school notes, the bills, the food shop, who's driving who. I love my life. It was the running of it that was trying to kill me.
So I did what I'd do at work. I'd rather systemise the thing than do the thing anyway. (I'd rather write the rules for the Woolies shop than do the Woolies shop. I'm aware of how that sounds.) I started getting my house out of my head and into a system, one job at a time. The Sunday Rundown was the first. Every piece gets built in my house first, then handed over here, free. Including what breaks.
Why share it? Because too many of my friends are the only one in their house who knows what's going on. And because the AI running in big companies turns out to work even better at home.
